Does Orbis feature any content from Earth Encounters?

Yes, but we have updated that content, added around 50% extra content and presets on top of that, and it’s in its own dedicated plugin.

I am an owner of Earth Encounters. Are there crossgrade paths?

If you already own Earth Encounters, you will be eligible for a crossgrade, saving 50%. You will see your discount automatically when on the Orbis product page.

How Long is Orbis on promo for?

Is Orbis available with an Educational discount?

What is the EDNA Engine?

The eDNA engine is the Spitfire Synth Engine which allows the user to fuse two sets of sounds, modulate these sounds separate from one another and apply a wide variety of FX.

What software will I need to run Orbis?

We provide an AU, VST2, VST3 and an AAX, so as long as your chosen DAW supports one of those plugin formats, you’re good to go.

How do you add Orbis into Kontakt?

You don’t! Orbis is a dedicated plugin available as VST, AAX and AU so it can be used directly in your favourite DAW.

Does this mean you are no longer releasing libraries in Kontakt?

No. We will still be making Kontakt libraries.

Can I use this library on more than one computer?

Yes, this is a single user license, but our EULA allows for installation on up to two computers at a time.

If I want to install this library on a second computer, do I have to download it again?

No, you can simply copy the “Spitfire Audio - ORBIS” folder over and use the Repair feature in the Spitfire Audio App to ensure the plugin can find all the content that it needs.

Which other libraries would Orbis work well with?

Orbis works well with any number of libraries, from orchestral to other synthesizers. This library has many unique and versatile sounds.
