The organ is a formidable instrument – complex, powerful, and utterly unique. Our Union Chapel Organ captures its full expressive range, from angelic whispers to thunderous roars. Built by Henry ‘Father’ Willis in 1877 to perfectly suit the scale and acoustics of Union Chapel, this instrument is widely regarded as one of the finest in the world, and its voice is irreplaceable in any score.
Complementing the organ is the Hans Zimmer Piano, created in collaboration with the Oscar-winning composer himself. Recorded by his trusted engineers at AIR Studios’ Lyndhurst Hall, this world-class concert grand, Hans’ personal favourite, offers a deeply expressive, cinematic sound with unmatched detail and warmth.
And of course, no expressive scoring toolkit is complete without the richness of strings. Spitfire Solo Strings brings individuality, nuance, and definition to your compositions. Featuring internationally acclaimed players recorded at AIR Studios, it’s the perfect companion for weaving in emotional depth and soloistic colour.

A legendary organ built by the master Henry Willis in 1877, in a famous London venue: the beautiful Union Chapel. Built specifically to match the size and acoustics of the building, this instrument is one of the finest examples of 19th Century craftsmanship in the world.
