At Spitfire Audio, we make sample libraries that are used by creators all around the world. Our mission is to inspire a new generation of music makers.
Our range of over 200 accessible software instruments let music-makers create, with the highest quality instruments, from full symphonic cinematic orchestra to drums, synths, choirs and more, all playable using a regular musical keyboard. Since 2007, we have recorded and released products with the likes of Hans Zimmer, Abbey Road Studios, the BBC Symphony Orchestra and a host of up-and-coming artists.
Role summary
The Head of Ecommerce will take full ownership of Spitfire Audio’s E-commerce channels, driving profitable growth. You will develop and continuously improve our digital strategy to provide an outstanding and seamless online experience for our customers. As an established leader, you will lead a team of three, innovating and maximising all commercial opportunities.
Primary tasks and objectives
- Own and define the E-commerce strategy for spitfireaudio.com
- Full P&L responsibility
- Responsible for the overall success of the website measured by conversion rate and sales
- Monitor and report on performance, sharing actionable, commercial and consumer insights with key business stakeholders to drive growth
- Preparing business sales forecasts across new product, catalogue and promotional categories
- Develop promotional plans and oversee all execution
- Lead and nurture the development of the E-commerce team including data analysts and CRM managers
What we’re looking for
- Previous experience in a Head of E-commerce or senior trading role
- Proven track record of increasing sales and conversions across digital platforms
- Adaptable in an environment with shifting demands and changing priorities
- A proactive self-starter with the ability to work independently and creatively solve problems
- Experience in managing agencies and individuals
- Expert knowledge of web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Contentsquare. Experience in data platforms such as BigQuery, Looker or Y42 would be advantageous
- Strong sense of ownership, and ability to drive results based on data
